At Trees of Light Education, we are dedicated to empowering children and youth through tailored educational support and mental health services. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to enhance literacy and meet New York State educational requirements while fostering a nurturing environment for all students. We specialize in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for special needs children, helping them develop essential coping skills and resilience. Our individualized learning plans, primarily based on the School of Tomorrow curriculum, are designed to adapt to each student's unique needs, ensuring they receive the personalized attention they deserve.

  • As your child's tutor, I'm committed to providing regular updates on their progress. We will track their performance through a variety of methods, including:

    • Progress reports: We provide detailed reports outlining their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

    • Homework assignments: We will assign relevant homework to reinforce learning and monitor their understanding.

    • Quizzes and tests: We administer assessments to evaluate their knowledge and identify any gaps.

    • One-on-one feedback: We will provide immediate feedback during our sessions to guide their learning.

  • Scheduling and cancellations are handled with flexibility and understanding. We'll work together to find times that work best for your child's schedule. If a cancellation is necessary, please provide as much notice as possible. We'll do our best to reschedule missed sessions at your earliest convenience.

  • We'll provide regular updates through progress reports, email, and phone calls. We're also available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
